Destinations Northwest Magazine is a full size full color magazine that focuses on both residents and travelers in the Puget Sound showcasing the best places to shop, dine, find services, attractions and entertainment. It will be distributed in every hotel from Everett to Tacoma. It will be placed at major grocery stores like Fred Meyers, Safeway and Qfc. We will also distribute the magazine at SeaTac airport and major event centers like Safeco field, Tacoma dome and Quest field. We will also be publishing a virtual magazine on the web. Palazzo Creative Social Media Internship

Palazzo Creative is a 21 year old Creative Services company in downtown Seattle. We have some really excited new projects we are working on, and we are looking to add 1-2 interns to our team.

The interns would be active in helping ramp-up our Social Media department, under the supervision of our Creative Director and Project Manager. This is a  really hands-on position. We are preparing to launch two start-up clients, so this will be a great educational experience for one of your students.  Also, there is a really strong chance that this could result in full time employment after graduation if it is a good match. Ideally we’d like the interns to be able to commit at least 15 hours per week, but we are flexible.

Job Description:
Media/Public Relations Assistant works in support of the Executive Director and Executive Office staff.  Assistant will assist in developing press releases and public service announcements in support of a variety of programs, projects and initiatives of El Centro de la Raza.

This position will write/produce Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) for a variety of cultural events and fund development projects including but not limited to; Cinco de Mayo, Dia de los Muertos, Spanish Classes, Tamale/Cooking Classes, Christmas Tree Sales, as well as announcing a variety of programs and services available at El Centro de la Raza.  The Media/Public communications assistant will also write and distribute Press Releases to inform media about a variety of events, statements and issues affecting El Centro and the Latino community. This position will also assist in developing and updating media lists, community calendar and announcement lists, social media lists and other necessary lists necessary to maintain broad and effective external communication.  Also work with volunteers to post announcements, fliers, and posters in local predetermined areas.

We are looking for a newsroom leader who has very strong reporting and storytelling skills. Must be able to set-up, shoot, write and edit own stories as a member of our team. We expect our reporters to come to the table with story ideas and to contribute to our editorial meetings. Candidate must also have the ability to do creative, energetic live shots and stand ups. Must be good in breaking news situations. Candidate must also be well versed in social media and prepared to contribute to our network of websites. Specific Duties:

· Minimum of 3 years Television Sales experience
