The Online Editor is responsible for managing The Spectator’s social media presence, the Spectator blog and ensuring all content is uploaded on the website each week through our content management system. All editors are responsible for attending an editors meeting on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. and an all-staff assigning meeting at 7 p.m. Editors also meet for weekly postmortem meetings. The Online Editor made $1470 per quarter for 10-20 hours of work per week during the 2011-2012 school year. Online editor applicants should have some familiarity with HTML or with an online content management system and be social-media savvy.
